First of all, I had these two representatives come to my home and misrepresent why they were there. They said they'd forwarded communications about changing providers and that they needed to verify some information in order to make sure everything was correct.Me being a first time homeowner, I didn't think anything of it. I never knew that these scammers could do this without my knowledge I been living at my residence for almost 4years and my light bill never been 300 dollars not even a 100 dollars I will be calling my Congress to address this situation because this is fraud and how is it they got my info to switch I’m so livid right now god bless you scammers because you guys will pay for it ripping people off

Make sure you always thoroughly check your bill this place is automatically sign you up for there plan even when you never spoke with anyone. They just steal your money and act like its no big deal. Need my account canceled asap but lines busy or long wait. PLEASE NO ONE USE THEM!!

Trash company scamming people out of their money. They switched my supplier without my knowledge and doubled my bill. Luckily I caught it right away and will only be out a couple hundred dollars but what if I wasn't in a position to take that kind of financial hit. These business practices should be outlawed and these people should be in jail. This is a scam. Full stop.

Like many others, I had a young bloke storming into the office claiming he could save us a bunch of money because of the Transmission Service Charge from ComEd, that would fall away with Energy Harbor. Of course, their rater per kw/h is a lot higher so in the end their service costs MORE than previously. They should be taken to court by class action!!!!

I am amazed that a company like energy harbor is legal in Ohio. Folks instead of venting on the BBB website, call, email your state representatives, and your friends and neighbors are all in the same boat. Only by being vocal can our voices be heard.

Today I answered my door to a gentleman wearing an Energy Harbor polo who very kindly made a dubious pitch re. my BGE bill, how there was likely a mistake on it and he had been sent out to my neighborhood to offer a review to ensure my BGE bill was correct. Huh? As he continued his pitch he flashed a binder with a letter I "should have received" and an example of the billing issue. What Energy Harbor is doing is illegal and I will make sure COngress hears about it. How dare you charge me exhorbitantly to supply my energy when I never agreed to this?!! What the heck are you guys thinking asking us to call you when you are frauds trying to make money off of people for a month. Shame on you scammers. I am not done with you. I just received a letter from a collection agency stating the original creditor is Energy Harbor. I have never even heard of this company , I don't even live in their region in fact no where close. So how can I possible have a bill for $332.00 from Energy Harbor let alone getting a bill from debt collection..... This makes me pick a star no matter what , but my star is a big zero.
