Stolen my money. I had made a down payment when I signed the contract. I backed out of the contract within the 3 business days that state law requires for there to be no penalty. I was supposed to get my down payment refunded to me but nobody from the office ever answers any calls. Nor do they ever call back or reply to any voicemails. Until I'm properly refunded I'm considering this company fraudulent. I'm warning anyone considering doing business with this company.
We had Erie install part of our roof and were to contact us again when weather got better to do the porch on the house, but never were contacted again. Then it hailed and we had to have all our roofs replaced (house, porch, garage, and 3 sheds) The insurance company paid for all those buildings as much as Erie charged us for just the roof on the house. We had an Erie metal roof installed in May 2021. They have been back twice to straighten up workmanship errors ( after numerous phone calls and trips to the Springfield Mo. office). Now sand is coming off edges of the shingles, have been told they are coming back with glue and sand again to touch up bare spots. Really?? This is what an $85000 roof looks like ?
Really bad experience with this roof company. The sales pitch doesn't go along with the actual work done, plus they're not honoring the responsibility to repair damages done to the property while getting the roof done. Stay away from hiring this company.
Got an inspection done right. Then had 3 other people calling to set up an inspection of my roof. They even sent a guy out to my house without telling him there was an inspection already done. That guys poor gas tank….fast forward to the sales manager, gave a great presentation and explained the warranty well. Sold me on the job. Still have set to get a break down of my loan aside from screenshots he’s sent me. Then the fun part, once the sale/contract was signed. Had Erie construction replace our roof in late March. Roof and installation went well, the reason for the late or delayed response on review was because of the follow up after the roof being done. Pick up of the many left over roofing supplies and installation of gutters. Communication seem to be the problem, more then quality of the work. I understand the lack of staffs these days and sub contracting jobs out but what I was promised wasn't going to happen and did were the most disappointing of the experience.
I would not recommend this company or product to anyone. We replaced half our roof with the 30-year fibercore shingles six months ago and recently had hail damage. Erie could not explain or demonstrate the value (high cost) of their product to the insurance company. All words yet nothing to back it up, therefore the insurance company cannot justify paying us more for their "value". We purchased a new roof from Erie Salesman because we liked their product and warranty. We were told their company manufactures the shingles and they employees install. I was told we would have a pre construction meeting with crew Forman, all I got was a call saying shingles would be delivered on x date. Shingles didn’t show up. I get a call 2 days later saying shingles are there but they can’t unload unless I’m there. I scheduled an appointment in early May for Erie to come to my house to give an estimate for a new roof. The appointment was supposed to be today (June 3) at 1pm. When no one showed up, I called the 800 number around 1:45 and was told the appointment was canceled because I was out of their service area. They NEVER contacted me stating the appointment was canceled. Now I have to go through the process of finding another company after waiting almost a month.
