I would love to give Erie Home five stars. They came when they said, and they did a beautiful job on the roof. Our hip roof has a lot of valleys and transitions. However, they did not pick up unused material. Two pallets and a small stack of plywood are still n our yard after 10 days. Requests to pick up their materials have gone unanswered.
The team did an awesome job the clean up was done very well I love my new roof I am getting a lot of compliments job well done thanks to you all
Miscommunication of the products being used. During the 2 hour sales pitch they showed a particular ridge vent and confirmed it was used on both metal style and fiber shingle. Not what was delivered. Contractors are my opinion the lowest bidder. Group of Mexican who claimed they could not understand me when asking questions about the materials. Also witnessed one worker urinate in my driveway. Contracted workers used my personal tools to help with the job which they helped themselves to in my garage, which they did not have permission to enter or use any of my belongings. Very unprofessional. Quick work and clean up left minimal waste.
Erie Homes was great quality and a great value but the crew they used to install my roof, I was not impressed with their professionalism and the care of my property was not a priority for them, and I could only communicate with 1 member of the crew.
Verbally say they handle building permits they don't also they do not give bill of product cost or labor cost at all after they finish projects they just take advantage of you
Called a number for an estimate. They referred my information to Erie roofing. They contacted me and scheduled a visit. 2 men came out. Walked around the perimeter. They spotted a corner of the porch roof requiring repair of corner. At that point the visit ended. Advised would be unable to provide an estimate until area was repaired. 2 other contractors came out and provided estimates. Hired one of them.
They used super high pressure sales tactics to force you into paying double the normal price of the job at hand. They stole power from my neighbors house to do their job and then screamed at and blamed me for getting upset about it. They left a bunch of building material trash in my yard for a whole month. They lied to get me to sign the completion papers for the job so they could get away with leaving the trash. They lied to me about compensating me for their stealing power from the neighbors. we didn’t have the best experience with Erie. the sales rep lied to us from the beginning not knowing till after we signed the contract. he told us they would do do a tear off of old shingles and check decking because we were having leaks, instead the did a complete cover over the old shingles. we were told a monthly price and that was raised higher. now we’re getting charged $12 a day on top of the loan. i emailed the sales rep and told him that there was an issue with the contract but he will not answer me back. there were... read more
