Extended stay or overnight...it works. No frills, more set up for long-term stay, but works great overnight, as well. I have stayed at a couple Extended Stay Americas and all seem to be in dire need of an upgrade...not the fanciest hotels out there...but if you just need a bed to sleep in, or a long-term stay, it works. The ones I've stayed in have been located close to several shopping and dining options.

Older property with maintenance issues This is an older property and our room had quite a few maintenance issues with loose plumbing fixtures, a/c slow to cool, and lights in the room not working. The beds were too hard. If we are ever staying in Amarillo again, we will not stay here again. I had reserved the room a couple of days before the stay, and when I checked in they said they had no more rooms of the type I signed up for, so they promptly changed my room type.

I stay at this property everytime I'm in Amarillo. I look for better rates and other hotels, but always end up selecting Extended Stay.
