Perfect location when we visited Oakland University for the weekend. It had all the basics and all we needed considering we were there just to sleep and shower. Their "Continental breakfast" was sub par. We ended up going out to get breakfast since the hotel didn't provide much other than prepackaged granola bars and coffee.

Short walk to Oakland University The hotel is the perfect location to Oakland University. It has a decient kitchen for warming up food. It could be a little cleaner. Also, there is no workout room. The advertisments lead us to believe there was.

No glasses in the room, not even the bathroom. Bathroom countertop not clean. No one at front desk at check in or out. Came after rang bell on check in in a couple of minutes.

PROS: Great rate. Especially for what you got for your money. Our room was a mini-suite, complete with fridge, micro-wave, stove top, etc. It's amazing how they crammed all of the necessities into such a compact space. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've encountered in a long time. The staff was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. You set up the amenities package that you want with the front desk and they bring it to your room. Saves money for them and doesn't burden you with dust collectors you don't want.... read more
