Decent stay but a lot of room for improvement First I had reserved a 2 bed non smoking room but when I got there they had given it away and the room I got stuck with a single bed smoking room which really upset me. I was too tired to make a fuss so I just dealt with it. The air condition would only cool slightly again too tired to really make a fuss so again dealt with it.

Booked for proximity to venue The room, service and stay were average. The hallways smelt of cigarette smoke even outside the non smoking rooms. Not an easy venue to get to even though it was closest to the wedding venue we were attending, overpriced for the location, quality and facilities.

Nicely served purpose of my stay. Should be a note in room that dirty towels have to be turned in at front desk to get fresh ones. A note that the room would not be cleaned during your stay would be helpful. So long as a person knows what to expect--then it is easier to accept less service. Cold shower was not appreciated. Seems the hotel has insufficient amount--get back to your room early or you get to hurt.

Marginal at best. The hotel is difficult to find and not very well marked . I was very shocked to find the towels were not replace daily by the staff . When asking for certain local venues I found the staff to be helpful but unknowledgable about local services . The so called breakfast is very inadequate , nothing hot at all, poor selection of cereal, no fresh milk ;in short I would rather eat elsewhere . Better than reviews led me to expect We traveled to Austin for family, so the location was important. However the 2.5 review rating caused us some hesitation. We were pleasantly surprised at the comfort and pleasantness of the people and the facility. We will have no hesitation about it next time.

Great Price during SXSW Everything was fine, except for the woman at the front desk. We were greated with a sigh...no smile...no "Welcome to the hotel"...just a sigh and a scowl. Considering the front desk is your first impression of the hotel, we were disappointed. The bed was a little hard, but other than that, our stay was fine. Don't expect anything fancy. This hotel is fine if you just need a place to lay your head for the night.

business trip hard to find, even GPS got confused, public areas very dirty, no news paper, no ice machine, the breakfast is not even worth the term continental - apple, candy bar and coffee. I have seen 3rd world countries with cleaner elevators, and public areas. Just not worth the price, and its in a middle of a cluster of highways, good luck finding your way to eat or get back. not worth the money to many other hotels nearby with better value.
