Not Happy Traveling for work. Room was disgusting! Dated walls and paint. Kitchen cabinets were stained with old food and grease. Glad it was only the one night. The area was completely booked due to the Salem Halloween expo. If forced to stay a second night, I would have slept in my truck! Oh yeah, $200/night 😆
What I liked about this property is that it had availability.....huhh But it is expensive as a “Suites” hotel with breakfast......breakfast is coffee, pre-package mini muffins, microwave cereal packs and snack bars. You arrive exhausted to a hotel with your meal, and the “suite” is empty.....you have to request everything coffee machine, coffee, utensils, plates....there is nothing in the room. My experience here was terrible. When I arrived they told me that I had no room reservation despite me showing the woman at the desk the reservation number and confirmation email from expedia. She said there was no rooms available and that she wouldn't be able to refund my money because "her system wasn't showing a reservation". She had no solution other than to sit in the lobby and wait a few hours till her manager came in. I sat in the lobby for an hour and a half waiting on the phone with someone from expedia. The hotel is very outdated. We did not have a trash bin in the bathroom, and when I called to ask for one the concierge told me they didn’t have anymore.
Terrible room conditions, flooring peeling in in bathroom, black mold covering cabinet under kitchen sink, food (or something) on the ceiling, horrible odor in the room, and bedding was filthy and wasn’t washed before us arriving. Only there one night thankfully!
