Hotel staff at the check in desk was very rude to guest when I was coming in and pointing her finger and yelling.
Run for your Life! in the opposite direction Selected based upon location details clearly posted with hotel profile, we selected this hotel for its close proximity to Univ of Illinois-Urb/Chmpg campus. Non smoking rooms smell of smoke. We had booked 2 rooms. One smelled of smoke, while the other room smelled so strongly of smoke, it was as if it was a smoking room.I was told it was just the building and that I should keep the fan in the bathroom on (which is loud and is connected to the bathroom light). Price too high for the type of facility Didn't state upfront at time of reservation that there was no maid service. Hotel was run down and needed a lot of attention. Bath towels were too small and too thin, even for a small woman.

Sad state of affairs This hotel was such a disappointment. It was dirty. It smelled of smoke and old cooking smells. The linens were not fresh. The bedspreads and skirts were dirty. The furniture was very old and in very poor condition. I
College Dad OK room if your not to picky. Non smoking room smelled like smoke, bed very firm but clean a bit expensive for what you get. One and a half star at best.
Rock hard beds Maybe if you stay long enough, you would get used to the rock hard beds. Everything was clean but the condition of the hallway carpets and kitchen and bath trim were not confidence inspiring.

Much To Be Desired Overall poor. The entrance to the hotel was shabby, the room smelled bad, one of the windows in the room was broken and after telling the 3rd shift desk representative about the issue his response was that they new about it, and that he couldn't do anything about because that was the owners responsibility. I said its roasting hot in our room he said you have air conditioning don't you. The complimentary breakfast was terrible.
