Wonderful staff, highly recommend! The room was average and as expected from a long term stay. The aspect of this trip that made it a great stay was the staff! They went out of their way to get my requested room on the first floor and more importantly provided my family two hours of late check out while I was attending to business matters. Having been on the road for the past few weeks they really made it a nice stay for a few days.

East Virginia Hotel was OK. Check-in and Check-out staff was great, friendly, and courteous. Vending was out of service, as indicated by the clerk at the desk. Since they allow pets, which is great for pet owners, the rooms have a minor lingering pet odor. The room was clean and all amenities available.

Too hard to exit I like this hotel because the location close to restaurants and shopping plus the room has a full-size refrigerator stove and microwave which is very convenient. I’ve stayed here before and enjoyed my stay however this time I received an extremely hard mattress and a room adjacent to interstate 64 offramp. Fortunately I’m a sound sleeper but if you stay at this hotel do not stay in a room in the back.

Not worth it to for us save the $15 The smoke-free room smelt like smoke. The sheet was stained with a yellow spot near the pillow area. There were people loitering everywhere. The hotel front desk was ineffectual, turning us away after telling us there was no room under my girlfriend’s name and not bothering to check my name from my drivers license that I had given her.
