"Extended Stay America: Retro Charm & Convenience" Check-in was a breeze, and our room was squeaky clean thanks to the ninja housekeeper. Though a tad vintage, the shower was a dream. Nearby Speedway, Chick-fil-A and Krogers were lifesavers, with Walmart just 7 minutes away. Perfect for our riverfront adventure, and easy access to 71 North and South. The only hiccup? The ancient carpet, it was so old I honestly couldn't describe what the original color was, currently its a deep mauve brown (lol), so we tip-toed like pros on ... read more
Good for all but tv watching Pretty much just what I expected - snug, but adequate - one minor, but very annoying exception - the tv service was deplorable - couple minutes from pressing "on" button until "next" screen finished loading - a similar delay for the guide -& once a channel is chosen, NO getting back to the menu WITHOUT turning the set off and back on, and waiting Again...

Great rate and in decent condition. Room was a bit cramped because so much of it was taken up by big refrigerator, stove, sink, counters and cupboards that we didn't use. Note that there are no dishes, utensils or pots and pans provided if you want to use the stove to cook anything.
In order to turn the light on in the bathroom, it also turned on the fan in the bathroom, and it made a very loud noise the entire time you had the light on, other than that everything else was good

TV operation is horrible and desk clerk could not help fix it. I’m looking at a picture that is 5” by 8”
