Overnight I stayed overnight with my family after visiting Cedar Point, the front desk staff was excellent, but the cleaning staff was very rude. We requested a late checkout but they cleaning staff continued to knock on our door in an attempt to rush us out. We were also disappointed that they pool is not on site.

The outside looks better than the inside As I was standing in line the people in front of me were complaining that their room already had people in there. The other guys that were with them had beer and molded bread in their room. Needless to say I began looking up other hotels while standing there. Horrible! Nasty! Never will go back... this is a very old place... smelly, dirty. Hair in the bathtubs, one toilet was very noticably dirty. The desk girl was very nice, friendly and helpful...... AVOID THIS PLACE!!

Update needed. The hotel needs to be updated. The carpet was soiled and the walls were dirty. The place was pretty beat up. On the positive side it is a great location.

No fitness room onsite I chose this facility online solely because it had a fitness room. When I arrived about 8:00pm, Saturday night, I was informed that the fitness room was at a gym about a mile or 2 away and was not open after 6pm on Saturdays or before 9am on Sunday. (The gym was great.) I delayed my departure on Sunday so I could take a trip to the gym. Entire Hotel is a Smoking Hotel I have a few complaints to state here. First off, it doesn't matter if you request a non-smoking room as surrounding rooms who smoke caused my room to be flooded with smoke as early as 5 am each morning. I awoke to having to breathe second hand smoke as well as return home with all of my belongings saturated in smoke. It caused me to have to wash every item and clean by hand to remove the smell.
