Dirty Hotel Room!! I am not a picky person when it comes to hotels, all I care about is that it is clean, I've been happy at a Motel 6 but this place was something else. Customer service was not great, no one was there at check in my husband and I had to wait 15 minutes in the cold for someone to arrive to check us in. Nice kitchen area that was about it. Bed was too low and stiff as a board. Blanket had burn holes in it. They had the audacity to charge an extra $15 a week to increase your wifi access to 2 mbps! What some people think is high speed these days is remarkable!

Why lie? I asked for a nonsmoking room. The room I got REEKED of cigarette smoke. I called front desk, and the girl insisted the entire building was smoke free. Oh really, then why'd I find a cigarette butt in the toilet?

personal business extremely good location - door ajar when we arrived - half of safety lock was missing - we noticed quite a large vacant space between bed and door and reported the door ajar, the missing safety lock, and that something must be missing - chair with ottoman was brought in (nice to have a chair) - we think that one bedside table was also missing but we didn't report that - drains in kitchen and tub were extremely slow - carpet was badly stained at entry area - we wouldn't stay there again

smoke down from upstairs through the bathroom vent A non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray - and in the morning the smoke from the guy above came through the bathroom vent. Before the second night (which I had booked in advance), I asked them to move me to a "real" non-smoking room, but they said sorry you lose. The iron was broken, and they said "we'll let the housekeeper know so they will bring one later today." This hotel - Homestead, appears to be in the same family as Extended Stay America, and I can't see why anyone... read more

The rooms smelled of cigarette smoke. We couldn't stay there. It smelled and the promised amenities in the room were missing. We called the help line and were transferred to someone in India who had no clue what time it was where we were in the US, ultimately telling us we were on our own if we wanted new reservations in another hotel.

Spend the extra money for a better hotel There were cigarette burns throughout both beds and stains all over the carpet and in the bathroom.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE Had to buy sheets and pillow cases the first night we checked in. Seemed like there were drug parties going on down the hall. Smoking in public places. Did not feel it was a safe environment for the family. Room was dirty and had to clean the bathroom ourselves. Maybe Homestead Corporate should be more on top of their franchisees, as this does not seem representative of their brand.

Late Check-In to an Occupied Room! I called in the evening to confirm a late check-in was ok, but when I checked in at 1:30am the night manager gave me a card key to a room that was occupied! I tried the card twice, then saw a light come on, which at that time of night was unsettling for me AND the room's occupants. The night guy took about twenty minutes to figure out if they had another room available. They did, but the shower didn't work.
