Smelled funny Did not like this hotel at all. Room was not ready.

I would pass this one up for an overnight stay. The price on this hotel was 10.00 cheaper than Microtel in Urbandale, so we though we would try it. They got our room reservation wrong twice (put us in a single, and then a smoking, we eventually stayed in the 3rd room). The sink did not drain, and the was mold in the bathroom sink. The bedding was clean. No restaurants nearby. Sketchy patrons. No sofa sleeper. Microtel is worth the extra 10.00. We will not return.

Not recommended Difficult entry with luggage. Automatic doors would work better. Bed was hard. No hair dryer. Noise from the freeway

Would never recommend this hotel! Entire room and floor smelled of smoke though 2nd floor is 'no smoking', the beds were absurdly uncomfortable with springs actually poking through, the bathroom towels were stained, we were not provided any shampoo, there was no wine cork on the whole premises, the pillows were flat but very hard, there are no amenities not even an ice machine, the only positive thing I can say about this hotel is the check in clerk was pleasant enough. Overnight stay After driving 13 hours with my family we were very tired and looking forward to a good nights sleep. Unfortunately that didn't happen because of the raucous noise in the room above us. After calling the front desk and asking if something could be done...well needless to say, nothing was done. Also, the floor inthe room(216) had a white paste on it that was in front of the TV. Avoid at Any Price Horribly maintained hotel with a staff that just laughs when issues are presented. We were lucky enough to accidentally discover that our door needed no key - just a good push - to open as we were leaving for dinner. Had we not, I'm sure our stuff would have been gone when we came back. When brought to the attention of the front desk, the staff wasn't surprised at all. Not kept up well or clean I did not realize it was a smoking room. The rooms smelled terrible. Carpet was old and dingy looking. General layout was ok, but not warm or clean and I had my two girls with me. I would not recommend this hotel.

Avoid this place I stayed at the Extended Stay DesMoines last week. The windows didnt really close (1/2" gap) so i heard all the interstate noise. The bedspread has cigarette burns There are many better choices. Avoid this place

for the price is worth it. Should have 24 hrs staff on the front deck & should have breakfast available.
