The greeting of the customers, very friendly staff
World Championship Cook-Off The stay at this Extended hotel was all about location and price and both were right on the mark. We needed a night's stay near the medical center so we could enjoy ourselves at the World Cook-Off at the Houston Rodeo without driving all the way back home. Check- in a smooth. They were without water for about 30 minutes when i first checked in but that was due to construction outside and beyond their control. It came back on in the time stated and all was well. It was close to medical center where we needed to be. room was nice and roomy. Everything was out-dated, but it was still comfortable. Breakfast was granola bars and small muffins. If you didn't get one when first put out, too bad, you didn't get one. The fire alarm went off and no hotel staff came around to tell all of us that all was clear, we heard NOTHING from the staff......

This is an excellent place to stay if you have family being treated at MD Anderson. The property is clean and in walking distance of MD Anderson. It took me 10-15 minutes to get to the hospital.
Staff was very friendly. Updates need to be completed...several cosmetic issues & heater had to be replaced in our room as it completely quit working. Changing up breakfast items would be appreciated also.
