MUCH better places closer to The Woodlands This hotel is NOT in The Woodlands regardless of what their headline states. Paid extra for 2 queen beds. Had a double and a queen in the room. Went in 3 times to discuss the situation yet no refund was given because a manager was conveniently NEVER on duty. They don't provide housekeeping services! Rooms are dark. Person above us was smoking in their bathroom (non-smoking rooms, mind you) in the middle of the night; smell permeated our room waking us up and making it difficult to g... read more

I received a copy of your review, and wanted to take a moment to personally respond. I am so sorry that you were unable get adequate service from my staff. It's OK but they take 150.00 for deposit they took out 150.00 on top of what I paid for and it's taking them more then a few days to put the money back on my card. Other hotels don't require an up front deposit. It was a clean hotel. The staff was not friendly at all.

Business response:

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review of your experience with us. We are glad that you found our hotel to be clean; however, we are sorry to hear that our staff did not provide you with friendly service. Your comments were reviewed by our staff, and we will be having a meeting to make sure your experience is not repeated. Thank you very much for providing us with your feedback. We hope we have the opportunity to see you again in the future.

Lots of room to improve! I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The staff was very disconnected. The room was not very clean, found items left from other users, two lights were burned out, hot water was limited, and the shower had problems. Contacted the management and they said for two days they would fix the issue. They never did. Had I not already paid in full through Hotels.com., I would have tried to move to another hotel.

no hope for a new home When we first got to the hotel it was a pleasant stay but then I made reservations for 2 more days and I was informed that we owed 79.50 for our 4 month old puppy. My husband had gone and talk to the office and they had said Wednesday would be fine to pay. But Tues i was asked to pay or i would have to deal with the police i was never so embarrassed. I don't understand why they charged 25.00 a day if we are going to be there for a long length of time. Baymont Inn and suites, woodlands is the same way. ... read more

Itty bitty deceiving details The room was ok but it was so small. We had about one and a half feet on the side if the bed where the makeshift closet was. Makeshift because it was smaller than a coat closet in the corner of the room and instead if a door there was a green curtain. There was only one chair at the table/desk and the fridge was a mini. The one thing that upset me the most was the lack of acknowledgement or notification that the hotel's policy was now that anyone who booked via a third party like Hotels.com has t... read more

Less than perfect but you get what you pay for The place wasnt a palace. I didn't expect it to be for that low price. However I would like to have known in advance that there wouldn't be a hair dryer or even bath soap in the room. There were people upstairs making noise until late hours. However the room was clean, the AC worked very well, and the location and price were great.

Business response:

Thank you for the feedback about your stay at our hotel. We appreciate the kind comments about the level of cleanliness throughout our property; however, we apologize that we did not offer you toiletries from the amenity basket. This is available at the front desk upon request. Thanks to your feedback, we can continue to work on providing an exceptional stay for all of our guests. I do hope that you will return to our hotel, or any of our other brand locations across the U.S. and Canada in the future.

Beware! The Deposit SCAM! My hotel room was supposed to be paid for through Hotels.com. Not so! They asked for ANOTHER $150 as a "security deposit" and never paid me back. SCAM! STAY AWAY!

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay. I sincerely apologize for your experience. In response to your feedback, I will meet with the staff to review our reservations policy to ensure your experience is not repeated. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and it will help us in our efforts to continually improve our hotel. I do hope that you will return to our hotel or any of our other brand locations across the U.S. and Canada in the future.

This hotel was awful. The doors faced the outside- not safe for a woman traveling alone. The first room that I checked into was filthy. It looked as though someone was still staying in there. I had to go back downstairs and wait for another room. There are no hairdryers in the rooms-very inconvenient.

Business response:

Ashley – Thank you for posting a review of our hotel. I am sorry to hear that your room was not properly cleaned prior to your arrival. I will be meeting with our housekeeping staff to ensure your experience is not repeated. Please know that hair dryers are available upon request, should you need one in the future. Thank you again for your comments. We hope we have the opportunity to provide you with a better stay in the future.
