I knew from photos that the property was definitely old and the rate was low for a pretty good location so I was a little worried before we arrived. We are frequent visitors to the Lexington Area and we have several usual hotels, but when we booked for this last trip many hotels in the area were booked. Alright Hotel was dirty, very out dated. Had hair all over the wall in our shower. Bad smell in hallways and rooms. Good price, but bring fabreeze.

It's fine The hotel is fine. The stair situation to the 2nd floor is a little odd, with a circular staircase going up from the upper lobby. Otherwise, you have to walk clear to the other end of the hallway for the 'regular' stairs. Also, the description of 'breakfast' is pushing it a bit. It's more like continental breakfast, very limited. Overall, for 1 night or a short business trip, it's fine.

The location of this hotel was great. Super convenient to UK campus, restaurants, coffee, shopping. The neighborhood was very cute and safe. The associates at the desk were very nice. My room was more basic and than I have ever experienced, however- no hair dryer, extra blankets, etc, and could use updating. But since I was out all day it was fine for the price.

I loved having the kitchen availability! It was super convenient. The only thing I wished would have been in the room was a hair dryer. I'm sure I could have asked the front desk for one, but a built-in one or one under the sink would have just made it the perfect room.
