Older lady at front desk was rude. Amenities were lacking

Expectations Were Met. My third time staying so I knew what to expect. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the same parking lot. Decent hotel for the price.
Cleaning equipment left behind by staff. Dirty toilet bowl. No batteries in tv remote.

Could be better... You can tell room had been cleaned, but there was cleaning product residue in the bathtub and on the kitchenette cabinets. The desk chair was stained and needed to be covered with a towel to be sat sat on. There was a weird stain on the ceiling with something dangling from it. The coffee maker we got from the front desk, was dirty and had coffee grounds all over it.
