Adequate hotel We were in Merrillville to attend a family/friend function, so we reserved three rooms. The hotel was a good value for the price it has a great location and the staff is very friendly however, there is no maid service, the towels and linens are thin, the queen-size beds turned out to be standard size double beds, and the bathrooms are the size of a closet, probably because the kitchen area is a good size. Perfect for business traveler Nice room, would have no complaints except microwave didn't work. High traffic neighborhood with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Pet friendly. Full sized refrigerator and kitchenette.

Served its Purpose Pros: convenient to get there, cleanliness, nice service, comfortable bed, cable, wifi, across the street from Starbucks Cons: Loud A.C., VERY meager breakfast (it advertises a continental breakfast and we were sorely disappointed to only see hot coffee, snack bars, tiny packaged muffins and old apples.)

Not willing to help with travel arrangements Front desk person was not willing to print boarding pass to airplane for next mornings flight. Then pretended as if they had never been asked to do so. Would not help find in the other area hotels of which there were about 8, who would have computer and printer for guests. At the 4th hotel, I did find a desk person who did allow me to use their business office computer.

😲😲😲😲 The night attendant was rude upon arrival. To add insult to injury my brother whose totally blind left his room key in the room called the front desk for assistance 3 times. Instead of her calling one of the five rooms for him of his party she hung up on him. He made his way to the front with his cane in hand and she said "you can't be blind you found your way here". He is blind not stupid. She called the police on him. He did the same for her. Our cells were having problems inside the hotel I'm guessing since we we... read more
not all things are the way they should be this hotel was the only place that let us bring our dog,that does not let them drop the ball as they did. the last extended stay we were at had dishes glasses silver wear even pots and pans. not here I guess we were not to bring anything to cook in the room.the dog found a dirty dipper under the bed and this was shrugged off buy the front desk. if you stay at this place avoid the west end of the hotel the road noise never stopped.

Pleasant stay the hotel was very clean and well priced for the stay, however, there were dogs barking periodically which was unexpected but not too bad.
