homestead I was told they had fitness facilities. Instead, when I arrived and asked about the fitness center, I was given a single page circular from Planet Fitness and on my own. Btw, they charge 10/day at Planet Fitness. Essentially, I was lied to.I then was clear that I needed a room w/ good internet access. Instead, 206 does not have internet access. Wouldn't stay here again I have traveled extensively over the last year, and we stayed at the Homestead as part of Parent's Weekend at the Univ of Delaware. I understand that this was an extended stay, however, I felt that this hotel should have been kept better. The beds were like boards, there was a beer can behind the dresser, and the tv remote didn't work. I paid extra to have the internet service, and my computer wouldn't connect to it. It was ok I was thrown off when I approached the hotel and notice that the front door handles were extremely dirty and the fake flowers in the barrell. This hotel is ok for a traveler who wants to be able to cook in their room and have a nice size refrigerator. I was in the king size suite and thought it was comfortable for two individuals at maximum but I was not at all amuse with hearing the individuals above me or outside my room. Weekend getaway was not worth it If you choose to go here be prepare..people slamming door and if on bottom level you will hear people moving around up stairs..the room was clean but thewas something disturbing in my room that had me shook the the rest of the stay..Should have went to Residence Inn more money but a hell of alot better!!!
