Good staff, confusing corporate decisions Staff was very helpful and kind. The room was reasonably clean, but the hallways smelled intensely of cigarette smoke. I had initially intended to stay at the location in Alameda, and the similar names between the resorts lead to confusion. According to the receptionist this happens a lot, so I would encourage corporate to change the names from "Oakland Alameda" and "Oakland Alameda Airport" instead to "Oakland Airport" and "Alameda" to avoid future confusion.

The property was adequate. The room had an iron but no ironing board. I called for one and the front desk took care of it right away. They were great but they seemed understaffed. The room was very basic. Stayed here for proximity to airport and cost, but what I saved in the room cost I spent in Uber fees. A hotel airport shuttle would’ve been amazing. Seemed like a safe area though.
