Barebones First time at Extended Stay. Surprised there are no ice machines. There was no ice tray in the room fridge. Two pillows on the queen bed. No glasses, plates.

If you want a comfortable bed and a hot shower at any cost, it's a good stay. The staff are quite pleasant and friendly. Emeryville itself is quite nice. But the water pressure is too low, there are cockroaches, and the lobby coffee is terrible.

Very nice hotel
Space is OK. Service made the difference. The first room I was given wasn't ready/fit for use. Thanks to prompt and thoughtful handling, the overall stay worked out well.
