Quiet. Floors were sticky. Either jam (hopefully) or blood on walls. Nothing in kitchen for food prep. "Breakfast" was coffee, tea, hot cocoa, oatmeal, or nutrigrain bar. Extra pillows and a heavier bedspread would've been nice.
