Room Odor Overall a nice place and a good value, but my room had a nasty musty smell

OK visit When we arrived we were told the room wasn't ready and told to return in 30 minutes so went to dinner and returned about an hour and a half. When we returned the clerk wasn't there, a sign hanging on the desk said he was out helping another guest. He did not return for 25 minutes and said he was with the police on site. Not a good start. Great hotel, bad service the only thing I have to complain about was that it took the front dest 40 mins to check me in. I went on a Saturday and they oy had one guy working the front desk. The place was busy , although we he was great I was late to my event because of the check in wait.

Short weekend in Phoenix Air conditioner wasn't working, had to switch rooms,(extremely hot day!) after changed, all was good, and enjoyed rest of stay.

Large and clean room in convenient location This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The rooms are big, clean, and have great-functioning a/c and heaters. The appliances are brand new since this hotel was built not too long ago. The beds are very comfortable with comfy bedding and the deluxe suite had feathered pillows which I loved! The hotel is right off the freeway which is a plus while being in Phoenix! The staff was feeling and we didn't have a problem requesting for late checkout. The staff here is really nice especially Esmeralda she had issue with her Computer and was very apologetic and ever made a few jokes about it which I liked. This location is currently going though a remodel which is great but unfortunately I was put in a room that was just painted so the small of paint was overwhelming I did not say anything but I'm sure if I did they would have moved me to another room again staff was really friendly.
