Perfect base to get out and do things This hotel is cheap and cheerful, though the decor needs updating. I was put into a smoking room even though I booked a non-smoking room which was disappointing

The bathroom smelled of body odor, had to go to target and get candles and the built in kitchen sink had rust.

Good place All local hotels were fully occupied, so I had a choice between here and Motel 6 in Walnut Creek, which I had stayed at before and was absolutely miserable place, so I tried Extended Stay. I read several bad reviews, so I was prepared for the worst. To my surprise, the room was very clean, good size, upgraded flooring and carpeting, clean beds and bathroom. Extended Stay Pleasant Hill About what you'd expect for the price. Room was missing pots and pants in the kitchen ( not that we needed them, just a note), tv remote didn't work. Other than that I have no complaints.
Room was stinky, and looked outdated TV channels sucked! Weren't all cable channels, hallway was loud, dogs barked throughout my stay from night until morning
