The rooms are very clean and the beds are big and comfortable. I would make sure to ask for a room with a water view.

This was a wonderful property and I will be back. It is a great location. It was easy to access the freeway or the Embarcadero. My room had a wonderful view of a marina and the hills of Oakland. It accepted dogs and there is a fabulous path for walking him along the estuary.

Nicer than a discount hotel, short on amenities Clean, close to the tube, easy access and pleasant location (on the marina). Free wi-fi. Dog friendly as well. What you miss? No in room coffee. No hair/blow dryers. No ice machines (you have to make your own ice in your freezer). "Breakfast" offerings include granola bars and (if you're lucky) pre-packaged store-bought blueberry muffins and coffee or tea.

Great staff, beautiful location Situated on Alameda island, definitely a welcome respite from the noise and crowding of the city. Beautiful out of the way location, but still conveniently located. Grab and go breakfast definitely left something to be desired. Some bananas or other fruit, yogurt, or cheese would have been welcome. Just prepackaged, not very healthy muffins and some granola bars. But breakfast is important to me. ;) Hotel itself was great and staff, ESPECIALLY HOUSEKEEPING! was very friendly.

Didn't have coffee set up for room so I could make my coffee in the morning , although they made coffee downstairs. Prefer it in bed 1st thing, though. Maid banged on the door right as we were departing telling us we had to leave. Seemed a bit rude. Othetwise, asst mgr was very nice.
