OK bare necessity room Trip was part business part leisure. It would have been nice to have the eating utensils/dishes in the room. We had to check them out at the front desk. The food at the continental breakfast was pretty weak. Packaged buns and coffee in a Styrofoam cup.

Over all stay was good. Hallway did smell from people cooking in their room. There is a kitchen, but no utincels to cook. You have to ask. No room service while we stayed. I have to go down stairs to swap towels. I was hoping to have bathroom cleaned and fresh towels.

Convenient We stayed here because of the proximity to our friends wedding. The room had a disgusting muggy stale smell and the bathroom was a bit moldy. We showered with flip flops. The "breakfast" included was a joke- just instant oatmeal and stale packaged muffins. However, considering that we didn't spend any time in the room and were six minutes from the wedding party, overall the stay was okay.

Never considered Alameda I was in town for business on Wednesday/Thursday and decided to stay for the weekend with my girlfriend. I originally booked a hotel in Berkeley and it was pretty bad so ended making other plans for Thursday night. I knew I had to find better lodging for Friday and Saturday night. Room was ok for sleeping. Kitchen had no dishes, glasses, cups, silverware, coffee maker, etc. Had to go down to desk each time needed something. Walls pretty "thin" as far as noise dampening was concerned. "Breakfast" was a prepackaged muffin or granola bar, or packet of instant oatmeal.
