Beds are hard! The beds are hard — too hard. These are new beds (says staff). I have stayed here many times in past, but will not do so in future. 2 nighya of bad sleep is bad.

Was overall an ok stay. The breakfast was out of some keys items for a while and the staff didnt check to see to replace it in time.

Bad location mostly used by homeless persons. We moved to another hotel, staying only one night here. We felt we should have gotten a full refund, but were charged for a one night stay and refunded the remaining three. The happy face "Service" comment is for Hotels.com's help getting us out of the BW Inn at the Meadows.

Portland does have a homeless problem but our area is secured and we have security around us .
Stay away from this place! Unhelpful staff. Noisy room, awakened by noisy, creaking floor above. Free breakfast was cold and stale.

Sum this up with two words, BED BUGS!! I stayed for business on Nov 13-15 2018, room 139. First glance, the hotel looks great, spotless and updated. Though bed bugs are not singular to dirty nor clean hotels. After research they can infest just the same. Though, my concern is house keeping not seeing the obvious signs that I discovered with the Hotel Manager the morning of Nov 15. The room smelled strange, the breakfast was inedible. it was clean in a steralized way but not welcoming.

Uncomfortable beds The check in process was okay and the room looked clean. Lighting in the bathroom was dim unless the heat lamp was on. The pull out bed had springs poking up from inside the mattress (not just the supports of the bed frame, but actual springs inside the mattress); it made a night's sleep impossible. The king size bed mattress was very hard.

Crinkle your nose and bring some Vapor Rub The room literally stunk. The staff agreed the room stunk. The staff did nothing. They sent a housekeeper armed with weak air freshener and said sorry. The front desk blamed it on a former long term occupant then denied saying it. The Best Western Wouldn’t move us (they were full) and wouldn’t give a refund or find a different hotel to stay at.
