Absolutely not built to insulate from the noise outside or between rooms. The room above mine was ridiculously loud, you could hear every step taken and every conversation. The front desk help was very difficult to locate and they never once answered the phone.

This place looks nothing like the pictures. It definitely needs a remodel as its probably about 15 years outdated. You have to check everything out, including hairdryers. No big deal, but that coupled with the need to take a picture of your driver's license for "saftey reasons" at check in tells you the kind of issues they have. Over the years I have use Extended Stay America for many business trips to project site cities. The accommodations and the amenities of a mini apartment were wonderful back then. That was then, the Reno facility was an extreme disappointment. It first started with the attitude and behavior of a non management staff person at the front desk. As a non-smoking with a non-smoking room, the room smelled like cigarettes terribly. Also, no hot water. My shower was luke-warm at best.

Don't like this property and will not come back. First, the double queen bed room has no queen bed, just 2 full size beds. No hair dryer available in room. The AC doesn't work properly, too hot inside the room. It says "breakfast included" but no, it's only coffee, team and energy bar/snacks.

Worse experience!!!! On the 3rd floor there was someone bang on the floor as soon as I arrived to my room I was in the shower when the banging started. I thought it was someone trying to open my door to get in. Then I get a call from the front desk accusing me of making noise. I told the person on the phone it wasn’t me. the bed was comfortable. The countertop was chipped and looked old. The fridge was so loud i had to unplug it. The window heater was too loud. The “breakfast” was terrible and mostly non existant. Granola bars. Little muffins and packets of oatmeal were woefully inadequate. I picked this hotel because it advertised breakfast provided. False advertising. For what I got, it was way overpriced. I will never stay in this brand of hotel again

One of the nastiest places I have ever stayed. They should call this place a “motel” for the homeless because the people staying at this place are those that appear to be staying long term because they have no permanent residence. People stand right outside the entrance smoking all day. No daily housekeeping, hair balls on the bedding and overall unkempt. Noisy, with nasty people coming in/out of the “motel” all night.
