Rochester Review Spent a week at the Extended Stay America just off busy Jefferson Road in the south part of the Rochester NY area. My room and the facility looked clean and had the basics that you would expect from a studio apartment. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, But, my concern would be the lack of security. There was no attendent at the front desk at night and no lock on the building entrance door. Lack of a parking garage must cause problems in winter. No amenities, just the basics here.
Nice hotel, well appointed room. Very comfortable bed. Just remember to bring a blow dryer, there was not one in the bathroom.
Looking for a resonable place to stay one night There was still food leftovers in refrigerator and freezer. Toilet bowl had a ring looks like it hadn't been cleaned. Sheets were not changed found hairs on pillows and sheet.

Rude and clueless The front desk staff was rude and disorganised, they gave me the wrong room, and woke me up at 1:00 in the morning to let me know that they have family back in MA in the same town I'm from and they DO NOT offer breakfast as they advertise.

Bad experience First night, arrived late and they gave me a smoking room. Never smoked in my life but they said they were completely booked and could not change it. Blamed it on travel site saying they submitted my profile as smoking. Said never smoked or stayed in a smoking room. We stayed 6 nights and they did not have room service. Not once. Did they disclose that? No? We had to even take out our own garbage. What they called breakfast is watery coffee with vending machine like tiny muffins. Will never stay there again.
Nice quiet ( in private) hotel. We did experience a fire alarm going off and fire department arrived in matter of minutes. On the floor above us there was something left on the stove when occupants were out. We did not have to wait long to go back into our rooms.

Family weekend at RIT The hotel was very convenient to everything. Carmen was WONDERFUL. This hotel has kitchenettes. It's been recently renovated. It was clean except the outside of the refrigerator. There was a smell that irritated my sinuses but I bought Lysol and it got rid of it. However, I was awakened by the police the first night removing someone. Every morning I was awakened by yipping dogs. It's a VERY pet friendly place. good, affordable hotel I stayed here two nights for a concert. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had great pressure and very hot water. Will be staying again!
last minute booking Hotel was nothing special. staff did nothing to improve stay. We had a fire alarm (guest burned food on stove), and no one was manning the secondary exits to tell us when or if it was safe to re enter hotel.
