poor quality When you pull up to the hotel, the exterior looks okay. Staff was friendly. When you walked through the hallways you could smell the smoke. Our non-smoking room smelled worse than an ashtray. Cracker crumbs all over the floor. Tables were dirty and full of crumbs. No hair dryer in room or shampoo or conditioner. Beds were very poor and pillows about an inch thick. I would never stay here again. Even if it was free.

Lacking in Rockford We got a great rate, but got what we paid for. Upon arrival and check-in, the floor where we were staying had a horrible odor. After telling the front desk and leaving for a bit, the smell was gone upon returning back. Inside our room, we had little or none of the standard hotel room amenities. No blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, pad of paper, or pen. Soap was the only item offered! The room had a coffee maker, but apparently the hotel had been out of coffee packets for 7 weeks! Bathroom hair. We stayed at this hotel for one night. We requested a non-smoking room with king size bed. We got a room that smelled like smoke, and the mattress was flat as a pancake! Also my husband found a bunch of black long hair by the sink in the bathroom. We were both happy to leave the next morning.

Never again Left my camera on the table in the room, realized it when I got to the airport. Called and was told that it was not there. The cleaning staff stole my camera, my fault that I forgot it but come on!!!!!!

Extended Stay America Rockford - East I've stayed in other rooms around this price before and they never really bothered me. This one was a smoking room mind you. All I can say is it felt like a 50 dollar room. The toilet only kind of worked. My pillow was lumpy. Shower was surprisingly pleasant though. Basic showerhead but great pressure. On the other hand it is possible that it may have just exceeded my low expectations that morning. People at the desk were nice too by the way.

Would not stay there again. This hotel was a disappointment. The lobby was not well maintained. The hallways had a horrible smell. Worst of all there were a few shady people, including what appeared to be a prostitute loitering. Did not feel safe at all.

Bad all around The employees were no where to be found. The bed was as hard as a rock. The pillows were too small. The parking lot lights lit the room up like a xmas tree.

remodel Although the outside of the hotel and the lobby area are very nice, the rooms really could use some updating, a larger flat screen tv, and new furnishings.
