Good Deal Appreciated being able to cook in the room after a long class day at a nearby college. In general it was clean, quiet, and secure--important to a traveler. The price made it the best room in town--others were spending at least 1/3 more.

Here's the but.... Great room, nice staff, fairly good location, now here's the but... There is a strip club about a 1/4 of a block away and if you want internet be prepared to pay for it, as it is extra. The desk is not manned from 11pm to 6am and the pass keys are extreme hard to use, as the locks are very tempermental and jam up easily. The room was very clean, roomy, and had all the imenities. Visiting Rock Cut State Park I was on a bicycle trip to Rock Cut State Park where I had intended to camp. In an ultralight backpacking tent. With a very thin sleeping bag and ground pad. The park fee was $12 per night. Then the weather was predicted to be cold and wet. For $45 per night total, I got a suite with stove, fridge, comfortable recliner and cable. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever had. The hotel was clean and quiet. Great place.

Needs some improvements We were suprised that there was no security after 11:00PM The person on the desk at 7Am said the desk is not open ,but there are hotel personnel doing laundry and there is an emergency number to call if assistance is needed.We complained about a loud domestic disturbance that involved door slamming and loud cussing in the hall.Also loud party in parking lot with beer drinking at 3Am.Beer cans in parking lot and 3people asleep in car at 7:30AM The front desk got the vehicle info and also gave us credit... read more

Very much pleased We were looking for an economical hotel room with a kitchen or kitchenette. Although this room did not have an oven or dish washer, it worked out very well for us. Will definitely look at these hotels for future trips.

Don't expect too much! First, I got a great room rate. But that's where my satisfaction ends. And I know the economy has hit the area hard, but I would anticipate better quality service (the front desk clerk talked to a coworker about being sick the entire time she checked me in), better amenities (although I wouldn't consider shampoo to be an "amenity") and a cleaner environment (the carpets are a mess and it's time to repaint!).

Decent Hotel for the price Fridge in hotel was GREAT! Also nice to have stove and pots & pans.

Excellent room for the money! This hotel was perfect for my stay in Rockford, has security camera's and is very close to I90 of the expressway and close to all your shopping needs and plenty restaurants. The frontdesk personnel where pleasant and helpful!
