Basic hotel, not too far from UCSD Basic hotel room with a full sized fridge too. We were just there for a night, and it was nice to have a sofa-bed along with the regular bed in the room. The breakfast is pretty basic - coffee, snack bars, packaged muffins, and oatmeal packets. Convenient parking near the rooms. There's a shopping center / strip mall about 2 miles away.

Good choice for multiple day conference This was a great choice for a 3 day conference I attended. There is only one restaurant in the area but the room had a kitchenettes & fridge & nice dining table area to work at. So I went to Whole Foods & had all I needed in the room for 3 days. The rest of the room is very basic but the price reflects that.

I always stay in the Extended Stay on Mira Mesa & Pacific Heights. Great ratio price/location. It is a well deserved 3-star hotel.

Hotel has no restaurant and within walking distance.Room had a bath faucett pouring (not dripping) water,in spite of me complaining twice,it was not fixed -ironic that the bathroom had a sign that San Diegoi is experiencing a severe water shortage.I changed rooms....
