Skip this one Checked out after one night. Rude staff and you have to go to the front desk to get anything you need like towels and kitchen items. Thermostat didn't work so room was freezing. Mattress had a big slash in it.

Can be ok for one night Room smelled bad. There is no breakfast but only coffee and industrial muffins. The swimming pool was super dirty.

Ok if you're desperate for a San Rafael Room The room showed signs of wear: broken drawers, grungy grout in the shower, squeaky taps on the sink. The bedding and towels were clean. The advertised breakfast was granola bars and the kind of muffin that is served in cellophane that will last a hundred years! The coffee was available downstairs, but not in the room. Parking was ok, but there were a couple of areas of broken glass in the parking lot that were not swept up during our 2 night stay.

Unfortunately it was not a nice stay. Room had an odor. Already had moved from the first assigned room due to two very large boxers next door. Found the smell in the A.M. when I went to unplug my charger there was a stain of puke on the floor. If you don't want to deal with animals and wha they leave behind I suggest NOT staying at a pet friendly hotel. I believe that not everyone has boundaries and rules for their pets as I do as a pet owner. Barking, allowed on furniture and eat at the table with you. NO WAY for me. I will... read more

Price, lesson learned Bones Basic We chose this place because of the price. Next time we'll pay more to get some amendities. Needs a update desparately. Grab & Go breakfast meager at best. The worst - the water level of the toilet so high hubby's junk got wet - ew!

Worst experience ever!! Horrible service, Room Dirty, The smell of marijuana all over. Horrible experience I will never go to a Extended Stay America.

Across from sewage treatment plant Woke up to the horrific smell of defecation and could not sleep. When we called the front desk to inquire and complain, they hung up on us. Hotel is across from a sewage treatment plant. Left at 4am. Do NOT stay here if you expect to sleep comfortably or get good service.

Would not stay here again We had a very serious problem with our room. We ended up being refunded the entire cost by the hotel. That being said, the night desk person was professional, prompt, helpful and kind.
