Extended stay America???? Was it? The room came with a kitchen (suppose to have a full kitchen) but it had no kitchenware (utensils ) . I requested for utensils and they did not have anything available. .. Unlike of Extended stay America. Only one person runs the entire hotel. Breakfast just coffee and a bar. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Too expensive for a nothing hotel Well I had to go to city of Novato for a business trip and I had to get a hotel in the surrounding city. Unfortunately everything was booked around Novato so the only hotel that I was able to find was extended stay America in San Rafael. Let’s just say the hotel in middle of no where and next to the freeway. I really didn’t feel safe and felt weird about staying there the moment I walked in. Needed a dog friendly hotel The price was very high for what we got. Hotel was dog friendly but no relieving areas set aside. Room large and clean but very bare bones, not even coffee in the room.. Internet unreliable.

Swimming pool under construction no warning We planned a out of town foot ball trip with multiple families and centered our stay around this specific hotel for its “amenities”. Much to our surprise and several kids surprise the pool went under construction 6 days before our stay. No notices went out, staff said manager posted on line but we showed them on our phones that it clearly wasn’t posted. Never Again I had reserved and recommended this hotel to my entire team well in advance. We had 15 rooms booked, and we get there and they tell us pool is closed and BBQ grill was stolen. This should have been emailed or disclosed prior to us getting there. The staff said it was on website. We pulled up website in front of staff and nothing mentioned. They took away breakfast early. You can hear everything in the hallway. Bad for noise.

Much puppy ate marijuana from under the bed My puppy got marijuana intoxication and I rushed her to the pet emergency. $900 later and rattled nerves, I'll never stay there again. Cigarette smoke and pot smoke in the hall. Outrageous.

Old, worn hotel, continental breakfast NOT! The continental breakfast included packets of oatmeal, tiny muffins in pre-sealed cellophane wrappers like you buy at the gas station, coffee, hot water, packaged creamer for coffee and sugar packets. The room was old and musty, but the smell got somewhat better after the air conditioner had been on for a few days. The kitchen was small, old and worn and completely unfurnished. Had to make several visits with the front desk to get everything we needed.
