We liked the location and cost of the hotel. Inexpensive, with great amenities! We hadn’t been anywhere that was that had almost a full kitchen at such a great cost.

Extended Stay-Great Value with tradeoffs We had an amazing rate at Extended Stay for a Friday and Saturday night in Santa Barbara. The front desk staff are top notch, more about them later. It is good for guests to know that many things you might expect are absent or extra - daily housekeeping has a fee, wifi has an upgrade, no ice machine. Our room had one hanger, we were able to get more at the front desk. If you want to use the kitchen you need to ask for dishes at the front desk. Needs updating. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms, kitchenettes and bathrooms need updating. And there was a power outage in the morning during our stay, but it seems everyone including the hotel didn’t know about it. We were checking out that day anyway, so no big deal, but I don’t know exactly how long power was out and everyone was inconvenienced since they didn’t have a back up generator.
