Never Again We chose to stay in this hotel a few miles away from the historic district of Savannah in order to save a little bit of money (as staying within the historic district is very pricey.) It was a pretty horrible experience. a lackluster stay While there was nothing particularly egregious about the stay, there was no compelling reason I would choose to stay there again. The staff was certainly courteous and pleasant, but they're operating with either limited resources or restrictive policies. Nowhere else have i been told that they cannot provide a wakeup call. Disappointed The biggest problem was the number of people staying in the hotel. A lot of families were there and would hang out in the halls. The room was in need of renovation or a serious cleaning and the furniture was uncomfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and we did not have any real problems. Even though the room was cheap, we could have done better for the money.

Very disappointed My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past five or six years. We were so disappointed when we entered our room and saw crumbs and dust on the counter, food scraps in the microwave, and in the refrigerator. After a fifteen minute wait, we were given another room that was worse. We could not believe that this was the same hotel that had provided such CLEAN, comfortable accommodations to us year after year in the past. We won't be staying there in the future.

all right for the price the hallway, lobby and room itself smelled of smoke. Staff was friendly.

I did not enjoy my stay at all. The smell of the hotl was awful. Smelled like smoke all throughout the hotel. There were stains on the bed comforters and floors. The beds were hard as a rock. The tub was not clean. My sister in law and I were supposed to get rooms side by side, never happened. It was awful. Never again will I go back there. Its nothing like the pictures on the internet.

no titile We stayed at this hotel following a surgery for my husband to recover. cons:The reviews said the place smelled funny, I assumed that was the non-smokers' opinion, but it really did. There were burn marks on ALL the furniture and the handles on the dresser were hanging off. There was also a mysterious stain on the sheets. The bed is 'firm' and seemed smaller than a queen. Pros: It was a place to sleep where no one bothered us. Hotel staff and other guests were always friendly.

Needs a good cleaning Although the staff was pleasent and helpful about some minor complication, no one went out of their way. Overall the place is a cheap stay and lives up to that. Clean bathroom, clean kitchenette, clean sheets. Filthy carpet, bed rails and box spring under mattress...yeouu. Dingy hallway. Not much up keep done in years. Three miles drive to historic Savannah was okay.

A mess!! Hotel was dirty. Staff was unprofessional and actually gave the room I supposed to be in to someone else. The dishes in the room were nasty and also the kitchenette sink. This was the worst hotel I have ever been in. I will never stay there again!
