Great place if you are used to living in squalor We had 2 rooms - both supposedly non-smoking. Both reeked of cigarette smoke and other unpleasant things. We went and bought Febreeze and air freshener that didn't help much. The linens had not been changed on at least 2 of the four beds. There was a layer of grime over most of the room (e.g. phone, window sill, AC). The showers were molded and I definitely wouldn't cook in that kitchenette! The beds were hard as a rock. Smelly room The room smelled like cat pee barely masked by several airfreshners. Besides that - alright for the price.

Very disappointed We stayed at the Extended Stay America Savannah Midtown while visiting Savannah for two days. The first concern became immediately apparent as we arrived at the property. The area around hotel was not what I would consider safe. Within one block, there were numerous pawn shops, check cashing stores, and title loan businesses. Barbed wire and barred windows were the norm for the area. While we didn't experience any problems, we were very concerned for our vehicle in the parking lot. The hotel is definitely a... read more

Stanky Inn I went to Savannah for the well known St. Patrick's day festivities in 2012. I had such a good time, I was eager to book my 2013 trip. I booked my stay with Extended Stay America 6 months in advance. Upon arrival on 03/15/13 at 4:30 p.m. (check-in was 3:00 p.m.) I notice there are 10 people in the lobby waiting with their luggage for their rooms, there is a line of 6 people in front of me, there is only 1 associate working the front desk and answering the phone, and it was hot and stinky in the lobby. We were very uncomfortable. The water was barely warm and one night it was actually cold. The fan in the AC/heating unit made an awful noise, like the fan was hitting something. I called their attention to it after the first night, but it was not fixed for the next night. Also there was not a newspaper available for purchase.

Good value for what you paid for I stayed one night. It was cheap and provided all the basics. Nice tv with movie channels. Wifi worked great. Staff was friendly.
