We were in Des Plaines for 1 night, on business. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was very friendly & accommodating. We were surprised that there were no kitchen supplies, but then read the room key jacket & learned that whatever we needed was available by calling the front desk. Though close to O'Hare, we never heard the planes take off or land.

Close to the airport and could pay (through 3rd party) to park instead of airport parking. Close to restaurants. Only complaint is no airport shuttle.

My stay was pretty much uncomfortable, when my wife and I first walked into our room it had weird smell, we didn’t notify the front desk because it was a really late check in. I was about to warm up some food I had purchased and it was old food left in the microwave and that was the reason why it smelled so bad in our room.
