Basic efficiency This is a basic efficiency with kitchenette, in a corporate complex. Spartan but very convenient when visiting businesses in Columbia. The building itself is a bit grim but suited to the purpose. No restaurant or pool, but it has a fitness room with machines. One outside door had a broken latch. They charge a one-time-per-stay fee for WiFi.
Quick trip It was a quick business. The hotel stay was average.
Ok for extended stay Room was clean staff friendly everything worked. House keeping is once a week which is standard for these types of hotels. Nothing walking distance but just about everything for stores to restaurants within 1 to 2 miles.
Just what I needed I was not looking for a five-star hotel for my recent stay in Columbia, MD. I was attending a sales seminar and knew that all I needed was a place to crash and catch up on e-mails at the end of the day. Studio Plus Columbia fit the bill perfectly. It was much less expensive than the hotel where the event was being held, but it was comfortable, had great wireless Internet service at a low cost (one-time charge, not per night), clean, and quiet. I would stay at this hotel again when I return to the area.

Quiet Efficiency and good value for the Money, but not welcoming experience at check in This hotel is inside the Columbia Gateway Office Park. There are some good places to eat Checking into this hotel was a bit strange. There is no reception desk. You walk into an office and the clerk checks you in from a desk. I would have felt better if there was a reception area, and the clerk should have asked if I had any questions about the area or the hotel. Needs Improvement Requested Studio Delux which was supposed to be a queen bed and a full pullout sleeper. The pullout was nothing but a recliner.
