We went for a Royals game and stayed here because it was close and everything else close was booked. Not a very welcoming entrance to start. Has a full kitchen but no coffee maker.

Lobby closed and no one answered the phone. Called to inform them of late check in as advised. No answer. Dialed the 500 number when arriving to lobby no answer. Place on dead end street. People hanging outside. Took over an hour to cancel reservation with Hotels.com and book another. Had to ask for a supervisor and she was able to make this happen after speaking with several agent's who put me on hold having to explain numerous times and being told sorry we cant refund. only stay here in an emergency. for a long term stay hotel this was one of the most uncomfortable places I have ever staying. had to ask for service before they closed the front desk at 8pm. customer service was pretty bad.

Beds were only a standard size, no queens or kings. No ice machines, provided ice trays for room refrigerator to make your own ice.(Guess I didn’t need my ice for hours since I had to make it myself) No breakfast items, no lobby, no pool or exercise room. The ONLY positive about this hotel was the location to the concert we attended. For a 10 year old hotel I was expecting much more. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Price was out of line too, $141.00 total per night weekend rate. Ridiculous.....

Not a good experience The positive - The employee that checked us in was very nice and that was appreciated. We checked in late afternoon to attend the Royals game at night. Got back after the game and there were bugs in our room. The front desk is closed at 10:00pm and while there is a number to call if needed; we just left and drove the 3 hours back to Des Moines. Lousy hotel. Only advantage close to the Chiefs & The staff is rude hou se keeping is non- existence. It's built miles from any transportation [ public] and it's very uncomfortable Atmosphere.

Developing country hostel Room seemed like a hostel in a developing country as opposed to a hotel. Th floor was faux wood. I killed a roach that crawled across it. Walls hardly soundproof. Bed small with cheap mattress and pillows albeit lenens clean. Had a kitchenette but no glassware in room at all. Only a small bar of prepackaged soap in bathroom. I was glad my wife wasn’t with me. If you’re into roughing it would recommend otherwise spend another 10 dollars and get a modern American motel room.
