Extended Stay America Roanoke - Airport STAY AWAY! First Room had been made to look like it was clean,but as I inspected when I checked in discovered that the bed had clearly been slept in, hair throughout the sheets. also the toilet had hair all over the seat...DISGUSTING. They put me into a second room and this one was at least clean but was worn out, comforter had burn holes throughout.....in my NON-Smoking room.

Cheap hotel A roof and a bed, what more do you want? Quarter-inch of dust in the bathroom vent, several lights didn't work, one had to be unplugged to turn it off, TV didn't work, coffee pot was moldy . . . in other words, you get what you pay for, the rest might be optional.

ESA at Roanoke I would recommend this hotel only to people who like chasing bugs at night: I removed four of them from my room which were hiding behing the curtain.

Filthy! We had a mandatory evacuation due to Hurrican Irene! The idea was to go up to Charloteesville from the coast of Virginia. There was nothing available in the Charlottesville and surrounding area. We checked in the Roanoke area through Hotels.com! We were told only two room s were available at this Hotel, so we took it. Smokiest non-smoking room ever I was somewhat disappointed with my stay in this hotel. The hotel was packed due to people driving away from the coast to escape recent bad weather. Room options were severely limited. My room was a non-smoking room, a fact that escaped room's the previous occupant. There was a stale smell of smoke in the room, and two burn marks on the counter in the bathroom. I did was all my clothing after I returned home. Also, internet was an additional fee. Up all night I found the room very dirty, looks like the bathroom was not cleaned, just "wiped". Floor needed vacuuming, refrigerator was dirty with leftover bits of food inside. There was loud partying and foul language all night until about 3:30. Just very uncomfortable. I would pay more to get a better night's sleep.

Disappointed 1.Reserved a room with Hotels.com and was double charged. 2.Reserved a doubled had to move to a single because the air wasn't working. 3.We checked at 1 didn't return until 10 pm and the TV wouldn't work had to move to another one. 4.Haven't received any pay difference from the different rooms had to move to.

Creepy! I wish I would have read more, I assumed there would be a shuttle to the airport, since it was less than 2 miles, no go. I had no cash and had to walk quite a ways in a poorly lit area to a gas station to get cash for a taxi. The room had many bugs crawling on the walls and ceiling. It was too late to ask for another room, as no one works at the desk after 11 pm. I didn't sleep all night - I was bug watching. I also did not care for the manager - cold, uncaring.
