Horrible Bates a Motel Horrible smells and just awful hotel overall staff was nice and friendly though
You get what you pay for! Although the hotel was very accommodating when I had a problem with my credit card, there are a lot of red flags. First, they don't accept cash unless you are staying more than 7 days. When I checked in, the General Manager showed me a picture on their brochure of nice breakfast pastries and said "We don't have those - we have coffee and granola bars". So/So Not suitable for seniors (with or without handicap), especially the bath.
Not good at all. Awful. No clock radio in the room and no cups or anything else of that nature that an Extended Stay America advertises. The drawers and cupboards in the room were empty. It seems like this is an independent owner and not run by any type of management company. The hallways were very dime and creepy. Not well lit. When I went to check out there was nobody to be seen which was alarming.
Why have a kitchenette Not a single dish, plate, glass , cup or silverware in the kitchen. All cabinets were bare the only thing that was on the counter was a dish cloth. Why? Nothing to wash and no dish soap to use. This was a ground floor room the Windows had black out drapes but no sheers underneath. So if you were in the room during the day you couldn't pull the drapes open . Pillows were flat as pancakes, overall the room was ugly. Bathroom lacked a toilet paper holder,, the roll sat on the counter.
It was like a half way house Smelt like smoke. All drinks and addicts in the hallways. You can hear people screaming and yelling at each other
Poor service all the way round We had to change rooms 4x the first one had sheets with bodily fluids second room had a leak the third room was already used and not cleaned and then we had the forth an hour and half later
