It is a older facility and is near roadways with load traffic
Not quite as pleased as I'd like to have been We literally had no other alternatives at 2:20 a.m. on 9/16/2023 but to reserve a room at the Extended Stay in Virginia Beach, Va. I reserved and paid for a queen bed and non-smoking room. The Extended Stay website clearly states their rioms are a non-smoking. Our room had a double bed and reeked of cigarette smoke. Mold in the AC, dead roaches stuck into the floor in the bathroom, carpet was wet (indicating mildew) and constant sirens along the street (admittedly not the hotels fault) made it uncomfortable/difficult to sleep. This hotel costs far too much per night for these issues. Pillows were quite good and if cleaned and the carpets are changed or deep cleaned it could be a much nicer place to stay.
