Poor staff and facility. Unhelpful staff and unkempt facility

Stay away The toilet wasn't working, and the floor was sticky "dirty" The bed was hard like a wood board, and the sheet wasn't clean. The staff didn't know what shoud do with online reservation. Smoking smell was in every where. The refrigerator wasn't working and hot. The AC stopped working at 3:00 AM !! No personal care in the bathroom.

JUST the basics. I visited DC for the weekend with my young child. This hotel was very basic indeed but it provided the essentials (i.e., bed, shower). If you are looking for frills, this is certainly not the place for you. I would say that this hotel is ideal for shopping as it is adjacent to Fair Oaks Mall. It is also directly off of I-66 which leads to I-495; taking you directly into D.C. and connecting you to MD and so on. Disappointing When we arrived, the desk staff was chatting and made no move to help me, although I was he only person in the (small) lobby area. I was traveling with my handicapped grandmother and 10month old infant - when I asked where the cart for luggage was, the bell hop gestured back toward the hall but made no move to go get it. I helped my grandmother back into the hotel, no one attempted to hold the door. I carried the baby in and upstairs - again no help. Horrible experience, asked for a non-smoking room and it was a smoking room. However, the bed bugs were the bigger issue. Avoid this place at all costs.
