The best storage in the El Cerrito area! The customer service is superb and they accommodated my needs with no problems. I particular like the security safety features at this location. My personal belongings are secure, protected, and free from being damage or wet by the rain. Being able to pay the entire time of my storage upfront was a bonus. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone looking to store your items. Don't look anywhere else just go and you can thank me later!

THE BEST STORAGE FACILITY!!! Five stars is because of the customer service, security, cleanliness and location. In that order. The manager, "Chris", is really nice and personable. When I missed a payment, she called me and we worked it out. I've heard some places will just put a lock on your unit and auction off your things, or have people living in their units, hanging out all day and using drugs. Always extremely friendly and nice and such a joyful conversation. My unit was the perfect size and they tried hard to keep the price point good with deals and promotions. Should I need another storage unit that's safe, convenient and clean...I will return to Extra Space Storage.

5 stars: the manager Christine is lovely and helpful. Plus my storage unit was clean and easy to access. 1 star: the company policy on pricing. I came in with a 'web rate' of $291. 3 months later I get a postcard saying they're increasing it to $389 which is egregious. I called and complained and negotiated a lower increase. 6 months later they came at me with another $100 increase. Happily at that time I was ready to leave Net: a fine place to store your stuff but know that they're going to squeeze you on price.

Extra Space Storage in Richmond on Meeker is an outstanding storage space. The on site managers Christine and Andre are super friendly and helpful and make sure you're taken care of with whatever you need. They are very good communicators and explain everything clearly. They are visible a lot in case you need to ask them anything or buy any packing supplies, etc. The grounds are very neat and the storage units all seem clean and well maintained. Would definitely use them again and I recommend them to others!
