Their move in process is great. It's fast, easy and very convenient. They are very professional and courteous. The hours work fine for me. My only objection is having the flags waving outside that say: One month free, but it's not offered except when they have numerous units of the same size available. So it's only offered when it's convenient for them, not to just new customers. The site itself is great, but the corporation is another matter.

Extra Space Storage on W Steele Lane is an excellent option in the highly competitive storage space market. In particular, office managers, Samantha and Mark, are thoughtful, flexible, professional and personable. They will, and do, go out of their way to help you coordinate move in and out details, site access for moving company vendors, clean-up, etc. Additionally, the site is clean and secure with garbage bins! Can't say enough about this place and the staff. Wish everyone in business gave friendly service and help, paid attention to the details, and actually cared about what they do the way the people at Extra Storage Space at Coffey & Steele Lane in Santa Rosa do. From making sure I had the right unit, working with me on my timing of moves and storage needs, to the way they keep the facility looking clean and well maintained. To Nicole, Sam, and Mark, and the rest of the crew....A+++!!!

I was with this facility for over 2 years. Yes, the rent does go up, but the people that work there are some of the most helpful people I've had the pleasure of being associated with. I don't know if she still works there, but I want to give a shout out to Nicole. She put up with me a few times (like leaving my keys in SoCal) and was always patient with me and even willing to stay overtime to help me resolve whatever was happening. I just moved to the area and randomly called extra space storage. They gave me a half off deal to start and have been so accommodating. Nick who works the front desk is helpful and so friendly. He has a great memory and is really on top of things. I would recommend extra space storage to all my friends and family. If you have any doubts go in and talk to nick and you'll be a fan.

This place has some top notch service. The management team has really gone above and beyond the call of duty. The team is FAR superior to the place I just came from, Storage Masters. Clean facility, flexible hours and great service. The last place had two out of three and their management style left something to be desired. Wow. This place deserves much better than one 1-star rating. If you want storage in Santa Rosa, there's a lot of places, but they're divided into two general clusters - along Santa Rosa Ave. in the southern reaches of town, then a little cluster of places up north around the Airway/Hopper/Piner area. For some reason I found the Santa Rosa Ave. places to be disproportionately staffed and run by rude people and mental cases, plus, y'know, Santa Rosa Avenue. So that leaves this cluster in the north. Over the last 10 years or so, I've rented at several Extra Space facilities. Out of those I've found this facility to be the cleanest with the most helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
