Avoid this place. My daughter had her storage unit broken into twice and now she has to file a police report because of missing items. The surveillance cameras do absolutely no good because you cannot see right at the units in question. It is also very easy for someone to access through the gate by just following someone in. The people there have said they are dealing with this internally but I'm not sure they are. We have spoken with Sean and Ryan both to no avail. ~BEWARE!Been renting a spot here for 6 years and for the past 2 years it has reached its all time low!!Place is filled with a variety of folks hanging around all day and blocking isles to work on their vehicles!I have videos of the floors how dirty they are and a unit left open full of urine!I also have pictures and video of what looks like feces thrown on the ceiling!!When I spoke tonight with a man,he assured me that the "Masses are currently happy and have no issues".I will,obviously be moving out as well and as for safet... read more

Avoid this place at all costs. I had a bunch of stuff stolen out of my unit and the staff were no help at all. It could've easily been an inside job, I don't trust these people at all. Drug addicts and homeless people are everywhere living out of their unit. There are tons of blind spots where cameras don't capture, including none in any of the hallways making this place not secure at all. I have significant concern about the security of my good and my personal safety at this facility. Within 24 hours of storing my first car load of goods, the lock was somehow removed and the only item of value was stolen. In addition, when leaving the facility, a person with a backpack was able to just walk in to the "secure" site. My unit is along a dark hallway so I feel at very high risk of an assault on my person. Scary when there is a strung out meth head is casually changing her "outfit" right in front of the glass walls of the office. I stepped inside and got an immediate creepy vibe from the group of strangers waiting to talk to Ryan. Wow. Started out good. Clean space, and very open hours of access. Then.... Rates were raised progressively through the rental. Discovered homeless around the location abound, living on site, hanging around. Some harmless, some scary. Person taking care of ending our rental said they were sick of having them urinate everywhere. The comment was interesting as the manager had told us just a couple of months earlier, when we complained about a pool of pee next to our locker, that there was not a problem. they are very expensive. they did not tell us that they raise their rates 'whenever'. they did not inform us that there is a senior discount.

The facilities are good and the staff is WONDERFUL! A good place for short-term (six months or less) storage. We've used it three years and the rate goes up every 6 months. As a result, starting this month (1/1/16), we will be paying 40% [!] more than we did when we rented. The Consumer Price Index has barely budged in that time and my income has gone up 0%. I'm pretty sure the Extra Space owners are not paying their employees 40% more than they paid them 3 years ago. I like this place but have to find a less rapacious... read more

I moved my 4 bedroom house into storage while I downsized to save money to buy a house. I made certain I do not have any food or liquids in my unit and went faithfully every month if not twice a month to check on my belongings. I just went this weekend and found rats have destroyed my camping supplies, swimming pool, trampoline, clothing, mattresses, bedding linens, irreplaceable baby pictures. Everything I own is soaked in rat urine and feces. Rat urine and feces can carry a dangerous disease. I just called and notified man... read more
