This storage building is great. Brand new building, well lit, very clean, they even have music playing in the halls! Makes moving all the boxes a bit more bearable. Ha! Best part are the folks at the front desk. SOOO nice and helpful. Also, it's great that they have an indoor driveway, which made unloading super easy. It's like a drive thru, for storage!
I do not recommend this place at all. I placed a review previously and of course no one made contact. Seems that they only acknowledge good reviews. I have had to make a police report and unfortunately, the current manger didn't really seem to want to help me figure this situation out. The larger units have no ceiling, just chicken wire at the top. Last year, many units were broken into and tools and valuables were stolen. Coincidentally, the cameras were not working that night. For sure it was an inside job, police did no investigation and folks received very little compensation from Extra Space to replace tools and valuables. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE.
I rented from the one on Oakdale road and I will never rent from this company again. They hire people that steal things out of your units. I had a 10 by 10 and half of my unit was stolen. Now I have rented a storage unit for years and just happened to try this one because it was closer to my house. I learned my lesson. This place is a rip off literally, they rip you off. They have cameras there but don't have the footage to give to the police, the have an alarm system but the company didn't respond. Sounds like an inside job... read more

Beware! I'll tell you about my experience. I enrolled on an online promo in July, 2022. After providing all personal information including auto CC payment, I received an $80 increase on the initial agreed rate on my October statement. Including the 30 day notice, that increase came after 2 months. Thinking it was a penalty for late payment, I went into the office and inquired. The person on duty looked up the account and stated a post card notification was sent that the rent was increased. I hadn't receive a post card ... read more
My unit along with many others was robbed! It's shameful they didn't have cameras where my unit is and the alarms are broken to alert the office of any entry. there are only cameras on some not all the units. The lighting is terrible in that place. Don't go there. They raise the rent the following month you move in .disgusting!
Be weary when renting from this facility. I called in to ask for a climate control room and signed up over the phone. When I arrived at the facility I realized it was a non climate control and that I would be responsible to cover the difference for the employees mistake. When I asked them to reach out to upper management they advised it would take weeks and to take their offer of a 2 month discount. What is interesting is they won't own up to the mistakes of their own employees and I would take your $ elsewhere.

I had really high initial impressions of the facility, however their security is worse than lax. My unit was broken into. Opening my unit set off an alarm, but they didn't bother to check my unit for another 3 days, when they discovered the missing lock and damaged shackle. They know they have an issue with people in the facility after-hours, including break-ins at emergency exits. I just moved out of this facility and though initially I had good things to say, overtime not so much. Pre-pandemic this place I thought was a decent place for my stuff but time there proved me wrong. There were a few questionable things that I didn't like along with the fact as the pandemic occurred, I had between 4 to 5 increases over my time there (2 years) They never once sent me notice of the increases, they took advantage of people easily during this pandemic.
