My experience here was horrible. I had to talk to people so many times to get a unit. The staff doesn't know how things work. I made my final payment when I gave my intent to move out but the employee didn't do it right so they said I hadn't paid. I was unaware of this so they cut my lock off and put their own on. I was locked out of my unit when I tried to move out. The staff is very unhelpful. 100% would not recommend.
I rented a 10 X 10 unit and was told that they would pro rate the monthly rate if I did not end up needing the unit but a few days. I was told that if I did not rent right away that they might not anything available. I was also told that because I had renters insurance they would refund the cost when I brought a document showing this. About 5 or 6 days later I found a apartment and did not need storage., I had only 4 small boxes in the unit and something was leaking in on the floor, I think water from the rain. I signed up for my unit in August and by December I got a notice my unit was increasing by $26 per month. When I signed up they said they rarely raise fees within a year so I figured my rate was fair. They advertise a month free also but no matter which unit you ask about none of them qualify for the special. Bait and switch is all I can say and I can't wait to move out. Hands down the worst customer service I've ever received. My unit was broken in and most of my stuff was stolen. The office person who was there when I was notified was condescending and rude. He basically blamed me for the theft. They had no video of anyone leaving the area, which was supposedly secured. I came back to move my remaining stuff and was again treated rudely and questioned about my choice of lock. That happened in June and have never received a call, email or any other sort of follow up. I rented storage space here because it was a convenient location. That's the good part. Oh, I think the facility is clean. But the cart situation is VERY inconvenient; it's a problem giving them my ID just for a cart and if there is no one in the office when you need a cart you're out of luck. My recommendation to Extra Space is to figure out a different cart method. Also, the guy that helped me when I rented my space was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. I don't think I have ever experienced a company with employees as rude as this one. When we rented the guy the guy tried to tell us we had to purchase insurance from them and made it almost impossible without doing so...not true since we had our own insurance! They don't know how to say please, thank you or you're welcome. It's almost like they train them all how to be rude. Sigh. I am so tired of leaving negative reviews. Come on businesses, where do you find these people who work for you??? Brandy hung up on me when I called. When I called back and sweetly said, "I think we were disconnected?" She gave the phone to someone else. Sometimes I feel like a stranger on another planet dealing with rude employees. Is it just me? Or am I old because I can actually remember a time when employees were gracious and pleasant? TGFY (Thank God For Yelp)
These people could not care less if you use their service or not they are very dis respectful and rude to paying customers. Great hours but not worth the trouble of dealing with the staff.

I've utilized several storage facilities in the past for my business, and this place has been the worst. Moved in four months ago with the 1/2 off first month special, and just received a notice in the mail that they're raising the rent already! Really?!! I rented from other facilities for over a year that never raised the rent at all. That plus a terrible layout and an underpass that's just low enough to so a car with a trailer won't clear it.
