I rented storage space here because it was a convenient location. That's the good part. Oh, I think the facility is clean. But the cart situation is VERY inconvenient; it's a problem giving them my ID just for a cart and if there is no one in the office when you need a cart you're out of luck. My recommendation to Extra Space is to figure out a different cart method. Also, the guy that helped me when I rented my space was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. I don't think I have ever experienced a company with employees as rude as this one. When we rented the guy the guy tried to tell us we had to purchase insurance from them and made it almost impossible without doing so...not true since we had our own insurance! They don't know how to say please, thank you or you're welcome. It's almost like they train them all how to be rude. Sigh. I am so tired of leaving negative reviews. Come on businesses, where do you find these people who work for you??? Brandy hung up on me when I called. When I called back and sweetly said, "I think we were disconnected?" She gave the phone to someone else. Sometimes I feel like a stranger on another planet dealing with rude employees. Is it just me? Or am I old because I can actually remember a time when employees were gracious and pleasant? TGFY (Thank God For Yelp)

These people could not care less if you use their service or not they are very dis respectful and rude to paying customers. Great hours but not worth the trouble of dealing with the staff.

I've utilized several storage facilities in the past for my business, and this place has been the worst. Moved in four months ago with the 1/2 off first month special, and just received a notice in the mail that they're raising the rent already! Really?!! I rented from other facilities for over a year that never raised the rent at all. That plus a terrible layout and an underpass that's just low enough to so a car with a trailer won't clear it. be careful with extra space storage on sherman. have used other extra space in other counties never a problem, however, sherman street, raised my rent, locked my family out while i was out of town, and did not notify me until i showed up in person. no email notices other than a rate increase which i paid not knowing they had locked me out!!! when i came to get my stuff out, they actually put me on a short time limit even though i offered to pay!! corporate should seriously consider making replacements as the people working a... read more

The elevators for this facility are large, however the design of the building is terrible. Trying to get a couch through the hallways is impossible. There's no room. It's ridiculous. I feel like the facility is secure, it's gated and has plenty of cameras every where. Everything is pretty clean as well. Auto pay online is convenient but they have raised my monthly rate three times in less than a year. What has happened to this place??? I stored there for about 8 months last year and never had a problem. I especially liked the customer service I received from one individual there who I do not see anymore. Now my bf just moved here from NY and we needed storage space again. It has been a nightmare! They are remodeling the offices but that shouldn't make a difference in what goes on there. One of the three elevators is not working, who knows when that will be fixed. Wow where do I start with these people. The day I moved in unloading my truck I noticed the maintenance person rummaging through the trash binds for about three hours so I approached him, he freaked out being busted not doing his work and ran to the office. As I was leaving the Manager told me I up-set him and never to do that again. After a year I noticed that most times leaving the grounds I would see his vehicle full of goods and boxes full of misc. things.
